Panihati Cida Dahi Preparations - Recipes by Srila Jayapataka Swami Guru Maharaj
Panihati Chida-dahi Recipes
The recipes sent before, I hope you got it! They are for Mayapur and Bangladesh, because here in Mayapur, it is more like fruits of tropical origin – like mango, jack fruit, litchi etc.
But for other countries like UK, USA, I thought they could make a Berry Pot with all varieties of berries – strawberry, raspberry, blueberry, blackberry, even may be cherries, or you can make a pot by berry with cherries, or make a pot with stone fruits like peach, plum, nectarine cherry, all the stone fruits. In some countries those may be available. Like in Malaysia they have rambutan, and other fruits which are not available in other places. Anything that fits! In the western countries they have different kind of melons – musk melon, cantaloupe, so they could make a mix with melon in little circles. . Similarly like in South India, they may have passion fruit and different fruits available, so they could use that. Wherever they have avocado available, they can make them into a salty preparation, like we have in SM – Salty Mexican with avocado. Similarly, may by they don’t have the same roots in Europe, but they have parsnip, turnip, ginger, potatoes, they can use that. Similarly in Europe, America, they have different kinds of roots -brown raddish, parsnip, turnip other roots, different kinds of potatoes – red skin, brown skin, so see to what is available, accordingly they can make the Madhavendra Puri root salty preparation.
