The Glories of Sri Purusottama Month by Srila Saccidananda Bhaktivinoda Thakura Two divisions of sastra — smarta and paramartha The Vedic arya-sastras are divided into two sections— smarta (literature based on smrti ) and paramartha (transcendental literature based on sruti ).
